Celebrating Indigenous Art and Storytelling

Our Story

Welcome to Echo of the Spirit, where art bridges reality and spirituality through cultural storytelling.

Founded in Norway House Cree Nation, Manitoba, our mission is to honor and celebrate Indigenous traditions through the transformative power of art. At its heart is Gayle Sinclair, a first-generation Indigenous woman artist in Manitoba. With 40+ years of experience, her work embodies resilience, tradition, and the deep connection between art and spirit.

Her creations explore Sacred Women, Children, and Men, Little People, Spiritual Animals, and the Seven Sacred Teachings—each piece infused with meaning, bridging past and present.

Under new leadership, Echo of the Spirit has expanded Gayle’s artistry into new forms, including magnets, coasters, and our signature Little People mugs, continuing her legacy while reaching new audiences across Canada and beyond.

Our Vision

At Echo of the Spirit, we believe art is more than decoration—it is a bridge between stories, traditions, emotions, and the spirit.

Through our work, we strive to:

Celebrate and preserve Indigenous culture through art that resonates with the soul.

Inspire creativity and healing through hands-on workshops that connect individuals with their inner spirit.

Collaborate with organizations to create meaningful and spiritually enriched artistic expressions.

Our vision is rooted in the belief that art has the power to transcend time and space, uniting people through the universal language of beauty and connection.
